The working process of the common rail system
Fuel Supply System: The common rail injector is supplied with high-pressure fuel from a high-pressure pump. The pump pressurizes the fuel to very high pressures, typically ranging from 2000 to 2500 bar .
Pressure Sensor: A pressure sensor is installed on the common rail injector to monitor the fuel pressure in the rail in real time and transmit signals to the ECU .
Pressure regulating valve: Located between the fuel pump and the high-pressure common rail, it controls the operation of the pump according to the signals sent by the ECU to maintain a constant pressure in the common rail.
